Abstract: Digital technologies are transforming governance, necessitating updated legal frameworks. Constitutional rights, tech-neutral laws, robust data governance, cybersecurity, and digital inclusion measures enable sustainable e-governance. Targeted legislative reforms, like permitting virtual parliamentary sittings and digital voting, provide important foundations. With astute rules balancing innovation, rights and accountability, the transformative potential of e-governance can be fulfilled.
