Abstract: The Protection of Children from Sexual Offence was adopted with the aim to implement the strict rules and regulation to work as a guard for the children against sexual assault, harassment, pornography and many more offences for the security of children. The act covers all the gender female, male and third gender both as victims and offenders. It came with the major reform in the Criminal Justice System as it contains the provisions for the special courts and speedy trials. It makes police to be sensitive in this matter as female officer will record the statement of the girl victim and it make police responsible to complete the investigation as soon as possible. The researcher tried to analysis the penal provisions and tries to find out the implementation of the Act. The researcher also analysis the judicial interpretation of the cases related to child. Meaning of the children under the numerous convention and laws also highlighted.
